| What is Sm@rt Wireless?
Sm@rt Wireless is a wireless phone working
on CDMA Technology which supports voice as well as data communication
(i.e Internet connectivity). CDMA (Code Division Multiple
Access) technology is advanced wireless communications technology
providing a very secure and reliable communications environment.
To use the Sm@rt Wireless for internet the set has to be connected
through a cable, provided with the set, to a PC. Please see
Installation Guide for further details and information under
“Use” below.
How much does Sm@rt Wireless cost?
The cost of the set is only Rs.12, 000
including all government taxes.
(Price of set does not include voice and data package. Unit
cards have to be purchased and loaded to enable voice and data)
How is a dail-up connection
made on the PC ?

I buy Sm@rt Wireless on installments?
Sm@rt Wireles is not available on installments.
Do we need voice units to access internet?
Yes, at least one voice unit
is needed to access internet.
Can I connect Sm@rt
Wireless by using another ISP service?
No, you can only connect Sm@rt
Wireles through the sercice offered
by TeleCard.
How do we load a card into the Sm@rt
Wireles phone?
Dial 1223344 on the 1x set and follow the instructions given
through the recording.
How many units we will be charged to
connect internet (by dialing #777)?
No units are charged for connecting
internet by dialing #777, (but you should have at least one
voice unit in your phone to access internet.)
What number is dialed to connect to internet?
Type #777 (on the computer keyboard)
in the dialup window on the PC. Sm@rt Wireless is CLI (Caller
Line ID) sensitive. You cannot connect from any other phone
set once the units are loaded on a particular ForeeFone.
Can we change our
package?
Packages cannot be changed once purchased.
A new package can only be utilized once the previous package
has been exhausted.
Can we use 2 packages at the same time?
Only one package remains active at a
time. Other packages are placed in queue. The first package
has to be exhausted before the next package becomes active.
Can we purchase internet
hours and voice units online?
No. Internet hours and voice units
cards are available only from authorized dealers or from TeleCard
Customer Service Centers or Supernet CS Center.
Can we install High Gain antenna where
there are weak signals?
Yes you can install HG for better
reception on a Sm@rt Wireless.
What
speed do we get?
9.6
kbps (kilo bits per second) which is burst able to 144kbps.
Speed is not constant at any one speed.
How
is the Sm@rt Wireless used for Internet?
The Sm@rt Wireless must be connected
to a PC with a cable provided with the set.

What is the validity of Card?
Voice Units are valid for 30 days from
the date of activation. Internet validity varies from package
to package. Check packages for more details.
